The CWLC-S credential is a legacy credential, which means the CWLC-S designation is recognized by the FCB, but is not offered for new applicants.

Individuals holding the CWLC-S credential are recognized to have met all certification requirements of an FCB credentialed CWLC, plus specified supervisory training and on-the-job requirements.  The CWLC-S credential was earned under a Department of Children and Families (DCF) program for Child Welfare Licensing Supervisors and has been consistently maintained in good standing.
