The CWPI-S credential is a legacy credential, which means the CWPI-S designation is recognized by the FCB, but is not offered for new applicants.

Individuals holding the CWPI-S credential are recognized to have met all certification requirements of an FCB credentialed CWPI, plus specified supervisory training and on-the-job requirements.  The CWPI-S credential was earned under a Department of Children and Families (DCF) program for Child Welfare Protective Investigator Supervisors and has been consistently maintained in good standing.
