The CPS designation is an entry-level credential for individuals who provide prevention-related services in the area of addiction only.  The CPS requires a minimum of a high school diploma or general equivalency degree.

The CPS is the reciprocal level for individuals holding the IC&RC Prevention Specialist (PS) credential.
