The CPS designation is an entry-level credential for people who provide prevention-related services in the ADDICTION field, only.  CPS applicants must hold a high school diploma, general equivalency degree or higher.

All CPS applicants will automatically earn the IC&RC Prevention Specialist (PS) credential.  Click here for additional information on the IC&RC Prevention Specialist credential.

The CPS is the reciprocal level credential for individuals transferring into Florida with the IC&RC Prevention Specialist credential.

Step 1:  If you do not already have one, you MUST create an online account in the FCB certification system.  Click here to create your free, online account.

Step 2:  Apply for certification from your FCB online account.
